We now offer 6" Standard front bead box Gutters as well as European Smooth front box gutter.  They can be made in Steel, Aluminum, or Copper.  We also manufacture extra heavy duty hangers not offered by others. We will also roll form these for other installers!

downspout sizing

Most residential downspouts are 2x3 inch rectangular.  A 2x3 spout will handle 900 square feet of roof.  A larger rectangular downspout is the 3x4 inch size for roofs up to 1800 square feet.

5 inch AND 6 INCH HALF ROUND

5 inch is fine for smaller roofs but 6 inch will carry more water for larger areas.  A 6 inch Half Round gutter carries about the same amount as a 5 inch K-Style gutter.

5 inch gutter is residential sized

6 INCH GUTTER IS COMMERCIAL SIZED

A rain gutter gutter made in 6 inch size will carry twice the water of a 5 inch size rain gutters and downspouts!

Gutter Size matters!

Below are some the sizes,profiles, and also dimensions of the gutters and downspouts we offer.

A 5 inch Half Round gutter will be 3/4 of an inch shorter from top to bottom and 1 inch shorter from back to front.
